This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Poughkeepsie is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Poughkeepsie follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Always enjoy the meals from here when we dine in. This last time we sat inside as it had been drizzling but sitting outside is nice when the weather isnt bad. It's not a lot of seating outside. Parking is street parking. Food is always delicious and presented well. We each tried a couple cocktails from their menu and enjoyed them with our meals. Our waiter was attentive, the atmosphere is a little dark but it does get loud because its just one open space with tables throughout. Nice date night location. You wont be disappointed in the food.

I'm honestly surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating. My friend and I stopped here before getting on the metro north and it was really really good. We had prosciutto wrapped figs stuffed with bleu cheese, duck confit tacos, and the chicken breast entree and they were all perfect. We were especially impressed with the mushroom gravy - made with house-cultivated oyster mushrooms. The drinks were delicious, and the patio was dog-friendly. The servers were attentive and very nice. Highly recommend this spot, which is close to the pedestrian walkway over the Hudson.

Unfortunately, this place didnβt hit the spot for us. Food was a bit bland, although shakshuka was decent. The restaurant is located close to a busy road so thereβs constant car noise, if youβre sitting outside. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we wouldnβt recommend:(

Amazing random drop-in experience. Casual atmosphere with a gourmet flair! They grow their own mushrooms and make their own pasta. Every dish I sampled was spot-on deliciousness. If you get lucky Camryn will be there behind the bar. She took care of and put up with our motley crew to the nth degree.
